Planned Giving & 1834 Society
Planned Giving allows donors to leave assets like life insurance, IRAs, trusts, or bequests to Worcester Academy. These methods can offer tax benefits, increase income, or meet other financial needs. Members of the 1834 Society are alumni and friends who have included Worcester Academy in their estate plans.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Gifting appreciated securities like stocks or mutual fund shares to WA is a tax-efficient way to contribute. You can usually deduct the full market value and avoid capital gains tax. Please notify us if you are making a gift of stock so that we may process it in a timely fashion.
