14:1 student-teacher ratio
Students have dedicated time each day to get additional support from their teachers when needed. Academic schedules are balanced with community time throughout the week for a dynamic experience that extends learning and growth outside classroom walls.

Preparing For College And Beyond
With the understanding that every student has different strengths and goals, our college counseling program offers personalized guidance in the college search and application process. Support includes college seminars, one-on-one counseling, practice tests, and early preparatory guidance for younger students. Our goal is to help every student find the right fit for their future.

Flourishing Beyond The Classroom
Known for our dynamic range of activities, Worcester attracts bright students who are eager to get involved, develop their leadership skills, and make their mark. Each day, Hilltoppers engage in community activities — from affinity groups to athletics — that allows them to spread their wings outside the classroom.

Support That Elevates Your Journey
Advisory groups meet weekly and stay together throughout their years in the Upper School, providing a consistent source of support, connection, and growth. An approximate 8:1 student-advisor ratio allows students to be truly known and guided in their journey.
Discovery Projects give Upper School seniors and postgraduate students an opportunity to choose a topic of interest to engage with deeply during their final year at Worcester Academy. Through this year-long framework, students practice researching, resourcing, reflecting, tracking progress, and expressing their passion while discovering what it takes — and how extraordinary it feels — to bring a creative endeavor to fruition.
