History

Approach

The Upper School History program inspires students to become dynamic, passionate learners and critical thinkers who confidently engage with the world. Our curriculum blends traditional courses such as US, European, and World History, Economics, and Government with contemporary offerings like Politics and Sports, Social Justice in History, and US History Through Film. We cultivate critical and creative thinking while honing skills in inquiry, analysis, and communication.

Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge and abilities to understand our increasingly global world and appreciate history's relevance in solving present day problems.
