DECA Club Excels at District Conference, Eight Students Qualify for States
Worcester Academy’s DECA club competed at the DECA Inc. District Conference at Nichols College, facing off against students from 12 other area schools in a showcase of business acumen and problem-solving skills. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through a combination of written presentations and role-play events.
Representing Worcester Academy, 42 students demonstrated their expertise and professionalism in a highly competitive field. Of those, eight students qualified for the state conference in their respective categories, marking an impressive achievement for the team.
A special congratulations to Noah Schenenga, Lily Burke, and Finley Hughes, who earned first place in their events.
