Four Seniors Recognized for Excellence in Science and Leadership at Girls in STEAM Leadership Summit
Four Worcester Academy seniors—Sarah Hall, Suri Hoang, Lillian McCarty, and Katherine Zheng—were honored for their achievements in science and leadership with an invitation to attend the Girls in STEAM Leadership Summit.
Accompanied by Ms. Kelly Wolosz and Dr. Frances Griswold, the students engaged in hands-on workshops covering a range of scientific disciplines, including landscape architecture, neurology, and surface chemistry. The summit provided an opportunity for them to deepen their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and gain valuable insights from industry leaders.
A highlight of the event was a discussion with Jen Cronan, Senior Project Manager at Stanmar, Inc., who shared her experience leading the construction of Worcester Academy’s new Capozzoli Athletic Center.
